Mrs. Jessica Abel-Adegbite (Lohnes) PT
Jessica was the first student from Dalhousie University to complete the Joint MSc Physiotherapy - Rehabilitation Research Program from which she graduated at the top of her class in 2021. Her master’s thesis was focused on the biomechanics of walking and its relation to knee osteoarthritis. Since the completion of her degrees, Jessica has published her research in the academic journal of Gait & Posture. She continues to expand her clinical knowledge, and recently completed her Master’s of Advanced Healthcare Practice in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through Western University. This is an advanced practice program in orthopaedic physiotherapy, through which she obtained her Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) designation. Jessica has also completed her Level 2 certification through the National Orthopaedic Division and Biomedical Dry Needling certification through SMART Seminars, and she is trained in concussion management from Concussion Rehab Works Inc. Jessica is enthusiastic about research and using evidence-based treatment techniques in her clinical practice.

Nick Culley MRCPod Podiatrist
Nick worked in the UK and Ontario before moving to Nova Scotia in 2014. Experienced in all areas of podiatry, Nick now specializes in musculoskeletal practice after many years of working with soccer players, runners, golfers and dance students.
A big believer in delivering the knowledge and education to patients so they can lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Keeping up to date with best practice and research in foot/ankle treatments is vital in a present-day podiatry practice.

Andrew White PT
Andrew White PT BPE, BScPT, Dip. Manip, FCAMPT
Andrew graduated in 2004 with his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, and has been working in private practice since. His post graduate education includes completion of the Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2011, achieving the designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. He has also completed courses in: Concussion Management, Rehabilitation of the Functional Fitness Athlete, Mulligan Concepts, Running Injury Management, Explain Pain, Kinesiotaping, and Acupuncture to name a few.
Prior to physiotherapy, Andrew had completed a Bachelor of Physical Education with a major in Sport Science from the University of New Brunswick and had taken extensive coursework in Sport Psychology. He has volunteered his services at several local, national, and international sporting events, and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
In addition to his work in the clinic, Andrew has worked as a lab instructor in the Master’s of Physiotherapy program at Dalhousie University, is an instructor and mentor for the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has been involved as a research assistant on a study in the School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University, which is related to Total Knee Arthroplasties. He has published a book review in Momentum (the newsletter of Sport Physiotherapy Canada) and has co-published a guideline for using outcome measures in the Orthopedic Division Review (the official journal of the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association). Andrew is the Communications Chair of the Education Committee for the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has been a board member of the St. Margaret’s Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Andrew works with his patients to identify the cause of their pain or dysfunction and to come up with a patient specific plan to reach their individual goals. He feels that a combination of manual therapy (hands on treatment), education, and specific exercises are necessary to achieve these goals. He is also a strong believer in evidence-based practice.
